Yes, but peaking is a fixable problem, and just shows the laziness of a
particular artist in not getting his tracks to sound as best as they could.

This isn't a DJ playing live, this is a guy toiling in his bedroom
studio with all the time on his hands to work and rework a track to
perfection.

For what we pay for cds nowadays, I'd like the mixing and production of
the music that I purchase to be at least acceptable. I don't want to
hear peaking and UNintentional digital distortion on every song off of
the album.
I guess it's me being an anal producer griping about non-anal
producing. take it as you will.
